The only issue i have had is the head ache, my lord its like being smacked around the head with a frying pan repetitively! I'm not sure why i have it so soon as its only my first day but hopefully it should pass in around 3 days. The other thing is the peeing, It is constant, every hour on the hour but that i don't mind so much as i know I'm loosing my water weight.

The Dukan Diet..... The Do's and Don'ts

Dukan is a low carb high protein diet which brakes weight loss down into 4 phases allowing you to eat a wider range of food groups as you go through the phases.

So tomorrow will be my first day on The Dukan Diet I'm starting with phase one (attack) this means nothing but.....

1.5 liters of water a day
20 minute walk a day
Meat (beef and veal)
poultry without the skin on (apart from duck and goose)
lean ham
fish
seafood
fat-free dairy products
tea and coffee

Whats good is that i can eat as much of the "allowed" foods as i like during this phase, It will last five days and on the sixth day i will move on to phase two.

I will update daily on what i ate each day and will be weighing my self once a week which will be every Monday and i will keep updates on that also.

Please leave comments if you are dieting to and let me know how its going it a really tough thing and i think support is key to sticking to any diet!

I had an epiphany...

Last weekend i went out for the evening with two of my old friends from school, who may i add are both about 5ft 8 and very slim oh yeah and they are both mums!

It was all perfectly fine until the next day when the pictures debuted on facebook making me feel sick! I could not believe what i saw i knew i had gained weight but not quite that much maybe?

To cut a long story short i had that Briget Jones epiphany moment and knew i had to do something !

Which brings me to now, and right now all the other diets, looks from people who you know are thinking "Cooorr shes put on a bit ent she ?" and wrestles with countless pairs of jeans don't matter. Now all that matters is feeling comfortable and confident again.

So in my quest for getting back to how i want to be i have come across The Dukan Diet which will begin tomorrow but as a goodbye to carbs i will leave you with my fish and chip supper !

(Dont judge me i like beans ok ! )

HD Brows.

HD Brows is a new treatment to groom eye brows. It uses 7 steps which incorporate different techniques to give you the perfect brows for your face shape and personality.

The philosophy behind HD Brows is to groom and style the brow more rather than taking away more hair to get the look that you want.

HD Brows is a favorite with many celebrities such as Cher Lloyd, Katie Price and Kelly Holmes.

The Seven Steps
                              Before                                                                                               After
  1. Preparation and assessment - The technician will Analise you features and personality to discuss the perfect shape and style for you.

  2. HD Tint - Tint will be applied to the brows to darken and even out the colour.

  3. Waxing - Special HD wax is applied to remove hair.

  4.   Trimming - Specialist scissors are used to cut long unruly hairs to create a more streamlined look.

  5. Threading - to remove any fluffy hairs.

  6. Tweezing - Any stray hairs are removed

    7. Finish - A soothing solution is applied and brows are filled in.

As you can see in the pictures the difference is astonishing! you must bare in mind that i grew my eyebrows out for about 3 months before i had HD brows so i got the look i wanted straight away where as some people may need to grow some areas so it may take a couple of treatments to get the desired look.

The treatment cost me £25 and took around 45 minutes i was also given a "addicts" card where i get my 6th treatment free which is fantastic!

I found the whole proses to be exactly what i wanted it was rather painful as my brows were so thick but defiantly worth it and gave me the look i have always wanted.Since having it done i have been able to just pluck away the strays and they still look as good as they did the day they were done.

If you would like the address of the salon where i had mine done in the Cambridgeshire area just leave a comment and i will let you know.

dogal wogals.

This post is dedicated our family dogs and our new puppy Amber, she  is 5 month old  tri colored Basset Hound who was born on 10th  march 2011.

We (my mother & my self) decided to get a puppy because we have a 9 year old basset hound called Jasper who we love dearly but sadly basset hounds only live for around 10-12 years and we felt it was better to get another basset hound now and love them both together than to have the loss of a well loved dog and then get another to replace because Jasper is, will and always has been irreplaceable.

Ever since i can remember in my family we have always had dogs the one i remember best is Red the Boxer he was a beautiful red and white Boxer dog who we had from a puppy. When i was younger i would lay with Red on the carpet and fall asleep in the front room whilst my family watched TV.At that time i had long hair and he would sometimes decided to lay on it leaving me pinned to the floor! although i never really minded as all i ever wanted to do was cuddle and love him.Sadly red became very poorly as he grew older and developed tumors and suffered a stroke which left him unable to feel in his back leg. After many trips to the vets my mother decided the best thing was to put him out of his pain and let him go to sleep.

Before we lost Red we had the arrival of Jasper I can remember the day he came to us,My mum and dad traveled to wales to collect him and he didn't arrive home till very late.He was a very chunky puppy and the first night we had him he cried and cried saddening my mum so much that she popped him in her bed, 9 years on and he's still there!Jaspers time growing up filled me and my family with joy and laughs,He would do things like steeling shoes or pieces of clothing of the washing line!He also found great amusement in nibbling Reds ankles and running away to Reds disapproval. At this time he also developed a extream interest in food, This led on to Jasper thieving numerous cheese sandwiches (His favorite) a long list of dinners and basically anything he could get his hands on! As time pasted luckily so did his thieving habit, instead he transformed his thieving energy into what we like to refer to as his "Emotional Attachment".This is Jaspers emotional bond with all things edible,Part of the emotional show is "Prarey dog" and  "they don't feed me".Prarey dog is where he sits back on to his bottom and begs with his front paws, highly amusing when teamed with They don't feed me,This is where Jasper chatters his teeth and does the famous RSPCA eyes! When using these emotions giving an abundance of treats is forced upon you as an owner numerous times in the day.

Which brings up to the arrival of Amber our latest eddition to the family.Just like Jasper when he was a little puppy she enjoys nibbling his ankles and tugging on his tale as an added annoyance,Of course all this is out of love, all she wants him to do is play with her but jasper has never and will never play, When throwing a ball for Jasper to fetch he will look at you whilst sitting still as if to say "Well are you going to get that ?"So the arrival of an extremely playful puppy was not on his wish list.

So far she has had all her jabs and her micro chip, shes lost around 5/6 teeth (the ones we have found). She walks well on the lead though she loves all people and other dogs so she will pull if she sees any of them.We have been to the vets quite a few times due to her love of eating grass, stones and mud she has suffered from quite an upset tummy but nothing anti biotics don't clear up.

Thats all i have to say about little Amber for now but im sure as she grows just like the others she will give me and my mum many funny memories i can share.

I cant sleep......

To be honest i have no idear what this post is even about but i have the urge to type and seem to have lost the ability to sleep. This seems to be a reoccurring issue as of late i think its down to the lack of activity,The past 2 months of my life have been spent working for 2 days a week only doing 4 hour shifts and that is about it! I finished my college course early and have a new job but it requires an advanced CRB check which i found out today can take up to EIGHT WEEKS! and i can not start with out it so i have been so bored.Whats worse is that my little part time job is on a Friday and Saturday so the two days where im most likely to find fun things to do is spent on a till in a shop!Though i shouldn't moan about it as these days im extremely lucky to have a job and a new one pending.

Ive been doing a lot of shopping recently to,most likely also because ive been bored online shopping has become my very best friend so i may do a little blog haul tomorrow featuring the berry high waisted jeans from Miss Selfridge that i mentioned in the post below.

Another Problem ive developed since doing an awful lot of nothing is eating! unfortunately for me i live next to Tescos and have quite the sweet tooth resulting in me piling on the pounds the last couple of months so im thinking of going on slim fast on Wednesday.I no its not the best way to loose weight but i am sold by instant gratification and after doing slim fast before i know it gives me the results i crave.Last time i only did it for 2 weeks which is the recommended time but after loosing the weight i foolishly thought i could go back to eating how i want which obviously you cant. This time i plan to do slim fast for two weeks to give me a bit of a head start and get the ball rolling and then going on to maybe a low carb diet and adding in more exercise.

I think im going to try and get some kip now or il end up waking up at midday tomorrow!

Good Night x
